Tayanigi™ Custom Longbow

The Tayanigi™ Straight-Limbed Longbow is handcrafted in the traditional American Semi-Longbow design made legendary by Howard Hill. With its true straight-limb profile and narrow Hill-style grip, this bow embodies simplicity, smooth draw cycles, and dependable accuracy shot after shot. Built with precision lamination and classic craftsmanship, the Tayanigi™ offers quiet cast, minimal hand shock, and the timeless performance long favored by hunters and target archers alike.

The name Tayanigi comes from Cherokee tradition, meaning “Elm Tree”—a symbol of strength, endurance, and deep roots in the natural world.

When you customize, you’ll shape the bow to match your hand and style:

-Core Wood: Bamboo or Soft Maple, the heart of your bow’s power

-Grip: Straight or Dished, each with its own classic feel

-Bow Length: 66" - 70", you specify

-Draw Weight: Your chosen weight (in lbs @ draw, e.g., 45 @ 28)

-Draw Length: Tailored to your shooting form

-Limb Veneers: Light or Dark wood to frame the limbs with character

-Glass: Clear, allowing the wood to show its natural beauty

-Handedness: Right or Left

-Shooting Style: Split Finger or 3 Under
